We are a boutique Operations Research and Applied AI consultancy founded by an applied mathematician and a senior data architect. We combine mathematical rigour with production-grade data engineering to solve complex enterprise problems.
Why “Harmoniq”?
The mathematics
Our founder's early academic research explored harmonic and sub-harmonic functions - studying smoothness properties defined by the Laplacian operator. These functions describe systems that are naturally balanced, where every point is the average of its neighbours. That idea of intrinsic equilibrium is at the core of how we approach optimisation: finding the smoothest, most efficient state a system can reach.
The music
Both founders are deeply into music. Harmony - the art of combining different elements into something that sounds right together - resonates with us on a personal level. It's the same instinct we bring to engineering: making separate parts work together seamlessly.
The mission
At its simplest, we make organisations more harmonious. When schedules don't clash, resources aren't wasted, and data flows where it's needed - operations hum. We build the mathematical models and data systems that make that happen.
